My Teaching

My teaching focuses on communication, organizations, and emerging technologies. Across these areas, I combine theory with applied learning to help students connect concepts to practice and critically examine the social, organizational, and ethical dimensions of technology while building practical skills in leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
Communication For Innovation

University of Texas at Austin, Fall 2024

Drawing on research in innovation, technology management, and organizational behavior, this course prepares students to lead in technology-driven environments. Students examine the social, organizational, and ethical dynamics that influence how new technologies are developed, adopted, and used.

Designed for students from diverse backgrounds, the course challenges conventional assumptions about innovation by exploring questions such as: Who drives innovation? What values guide technological change? Who benefits, who is excluded, and where are opportunities for intervention?

By viewing innovation as both a social and technical process, students develop the tools to critically evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and robotics. They leave equipped to navigate technological change, contribute to responsible innovation, and help build more equitable and inclusive futures.
